International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS)
The International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) is a key global network that actively contributes to promotion of research in all horticultural branches, provision of scientific platforms for horticultural scientists to exchange experience, share scientific knowledge and innovative ideas. Its aim is "to promote and encourage research and education in all branches of horticultural science and to facilitate cooperation and knowledge transfer on global scale through its symposia and congresses, publications and scientific structure". Its membership covers more than 60,000 individuals, universities, governments, institutions, libraries, and commercial companies. Furthermore, it includes significant number of Institutional Members and more than 50 member Countries/Regions. ISHS recently started cooperating with Corporate Members, an outreach that provides mutual scientific opportunities such as collaboration and networking development of innovative technologies and sustainable solutions for horticultural crop production chains for the industry partner and ISHS.
