King Faisal University organizes the Second International Conference on Food Security and Environmental Sustainability.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al - Saud, Prince of the Eastern Province, King Faisal University organizes the 2nd International Conference on Food Security and Environmental Sustainability during the period from 5 to 7 November 2023 AD at the university’s headquarters, in cooperation with its strategic partner, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

His Excellency the President of King Faisal University, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province for this conference, indicating that the conference in its second edition aims to study the reality of national and Arab food security, its challenges, and ways to overcome them, and to build future strategies and policies that contribute to its development and achieve Environmental sustainability, and contributing to enhancing food security through modern technologies in the field of future food.

His Excellency explained that the aims of the conference stem from the institutional identity of King Faisal University, to highlight the latest scientific developments and successful international experiences related to food security and environmental sustainability.

The conference includes organizing a number of scientific sessions, workshops, and accompanying events, including: (the accompanying scientific exhibition, scientific lectures, scientific workshops, and the Food Security and Environmental Sustainability Hackathon).
