Tuwet Al-Yamamy is an obscure poet from the Islamic Umayyad Era. His news and history are rare in old and modern literature books. Recently, some of his news and poems were collected by Dr. H. Aldakheel totaling twelve pieces of texts and sixty-seven poem verses. The subject of his poem focused mainly on a woman named Su'ada Azhar, whome he loved, but was married to another man from Yamamah. The poem of Tuwet Al-Yamamy moves around two main components: The person represented by the poet himself while the other component represented Su'ada and her surroundings.
