(Ayed Shafi Alaklabi)

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between organisational health dimensions (OHDs) and achieving quality and accreditation requirements (QARs). The researcher used a descriptive analytical approach. After this was proven to be valid and reliable, a sample of 329 faculty members participated in a survey. It was found that there were differences in most OHDs for King Saud University. There were no significant differences between the two universities in the dimension of independence. It was found that OHDs accounted for 67.4% of the total variation in achieving QARs. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences in OHDs attributable to academic rank, whereas there were no significant differences attributable to nationality and experience. With regards to Shaqra University (SU), it was found that there were significant differences in favour of SU in the dimensions of independence and morale. OHDs accounted for 37.7% of the total variation in achieving QARs. There were statistically significant differences in OHDs based on nationality, but there were no statistically significant differences based on academic rank and experience.
