  Novel 1-(2-(substituted phenyl)-2-oxoethyl)-4-(isopropoxycarbonyl)pyridin-1-ium bromide derivatives, a method of synthesizing said compounds, a pharmaceutical composition comprising said compounds and a suitable carrier, and a method of using the compounds. The 1-(2-(substituted phenyl)-2-oxoethyl)-4-(isopropoxycarbonyl)pyridin-1-ium bromide derivative compounds are useful as anti-tubercular agents.
