In cooperation between Camel Research Centre and Saudi Veterinary Medical Society at King Faisal University, and ISOCARD, the sixth conference of the society entitled (Role of Camel in Food Security and Economic Development) will be held at King Faisal University Hall. The conference aims to promote international cooperation between all those interested in camels, including, individuals, companies, institutions, universities and scientific centers to develop camels and camel industry as a significant sector in the global economy.

ISOCARD was founded at Al-Ain (United Arab Emirates) in April 2006 at the time of the first ISOCARD conference.

ISOCARD conferences were held in 2006 at Al-Ain, UAE, in 2009 at Djerba, Tunisia, in 2012, Muscat, Oman, in 2015 at Almaty, Kazakhstan and in 2018 at Laayoune, Morocco.
