Forbidden Actions in Minor Charity Chapter "Soura Al- Ma'oun" An Objective Rhetoric Study

Abstract

This study examined the minor charity chapter of the Quran (verse number107) “Al- Ma’oun” which is characterized by enlisting a group of forbidden actions practiced by a wide section of the society. These forbidden actions were listed throughout the chapter. The importance of this work arises from the fact that the minor charity chapter represent a pioneer legislative example in defining social peace that could result from social compassionate that is based on Allah’s doctrine that manages economic wealth. This research aims at investigating the forbidden using an objective rhetoric approach to conclude the social and educational sides and clarify the relationship of ethics with communities, families, and individuals life. The study used both inductive and analytical methods. The main findings were that the chapter, in spite of its shortness, included the criteria of maintaining people life, both socially and economically. In addition, it shows the holy Quran objective of achieving community peace by purifying the community from what hurts its security and safety. The most important recommendations for researchers is to examine the short chapter of Quran to elucidate local and international community issues. Key Words: Community peace, Forbidden actions.
