The Realization of Mental Evidences in Prophet's (PBUH) Traditions Criticism An Inductive Fundamental Study

Abstract

Mentality has a premium status among narrators. Critics devoted their efforts in applying metal evidences in criticizing the Prophet's (PBUH) traditions. This had a great impact on improving the quality of the criticism process. This work examines the level and characteristics of adopting mental evidences in narrators' criticism of Prophet's traditions and their approach in judging the traditions and their tellers. It also shows how mental evidences were implemented in formulating the governing rules of telling narrations and its acceptance. Furthermore, the work tracks the history of its adopting in criticism. The work also analyzes the impact of applying mental evidences and define its applied controls throughout reviewing critics' comments and performance within such context. The work emphasizes the importance of strict application of mental evidences rules in traditions criticism as the pioneers structured it. It also emphasizes that recent scholar contradiction to the agreement of pioneers' judgment is a result of failure to select proper theory or its application. The work recommends that there is great need to carefully study and apply the narrators approach to mental evidences. Key Words: Critical thinking, Narration rules, Tradition acceptance.
