Abstract

Shamsuldeen Mohamed bin Nosair Almaidani is a distinguish scholar in the field of Grammar history. However, He was not extensively studied. Accordingly, this work aimed to study his grammatical choices of sixteen subjects. The main finding of this study was that Ibn Nosair Almaidany followed the Basrah' scholars approach. He also chose the opinion that the root is the origin of verb. Key Words: Basrah grammarians, Grammarians' vita, Kufa grammarians.
