Abdullah bin Ata Al-Taify is a trustworthy narrator of the prophet’s (PBOH) sayings. He was one of Imam Muslim’s men who narrated two sayings in his book. Ibn Hajar Alaskalany ruled that Ibn Ata is trustworthy but he made mistakes and citation negligence. Recent scholars adopted, and even, approved this opinion. Other modern scholars went further and alienated some sayings because Ibn Ata was one of the narrators. This led to the rejection of some saying that form a part of the prophet’s (PBOH) Sayings, which is clear depravity. The study presented the biography of Ibn Ata.
