Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between religious supplications and psychological health among students in Faculty of Juristic Studies at Al al-Bayt University. The sample of the study consisted of (143) students, (68) males and (75) females, chosen using the cluster- random sampling technique. Two scales were adopted and tested. The scales were applied to collect the data, followed by statistical analysis. The findings revealed that there was a correlation between religious supplications and psychological health. The correlation was statistically significant at the dimensions of prayer and holly Qur’an. Finally, the findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences of the participants’ psychological health responses due to gender or economic status.
