Prophet (PBOH) Narratives (Hadith) School in Levant, Its Origin and Characteristics

Abstract

Knowledge of the countries of the narrators and their hometowns is an important Narrative (Hadith) science.This helps in studying Hadith schools of each Islamic country and assist in identifying the scientific curricula of these schools. This study aimed to identify the setup of Narrative school in the Levant in addition to the efforts of the prophet companions (Sahaba). It also aimed to introduce the narrators whether they were Companion, Followers (Tabein), or Followers’ Followers (Tabie Altabein). Finally, the characteristics and criticism of the school were summarized to give a clear view of the emergence of this school and its features. Key Words: Levant, Narrative science.
