Inaction and Its Jurisprudence "A Fundamental Study"

Abstract

This study examines subjects inaction according to jurisprudence scholars to determine its effects. Linguistic and context of inaction was examined to determine its concept and usage. The study summarized its related the terms, its nature, how it is classified as an order action (Takleef). It also clarified the concept of rewards - inaction relationship and the effect of intention on rewards. The study concluded the most relevant definition of inaction as "intentionally forcing oneself to stop doing something on choice". The study also classified inaction as a true existential act. Inaction was also found to be an act of choice. Key Words: Existential act, Inaction, Ordered actions.
