Abstract

This research paper investigates efforts exerted by the government of King Abdulaziz in developing and improving a wide range of educational services, to serve citizens of the newly formed Kingdom. It covers the status of education in the Arabian Peninsula during the early days of the Kingdom, and difficulties hindering efforts and ambitions of King Abdulaziz. The conclusions of this research emphasizes the success of King Abdulaziz in establishing a very strong infrastructure for the current Saudi Arabian educational services, preserving the Saudi Islamic and Arabian identify and rights, as well as paving the way for more progress and prosperity.
