Abstract

This paper presents a literary analyses of the character of King Abdul Aziz in the poetry of Fuad El-Khateeb. It highlights the most important aspects of this character as documented in El-Khateebs poetry, in addition to identifying the most important features of this late King and founder and unifier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Most importantly, this paper discusses Abdul Aziz as a believer Muslim, a courageous leader, a maker of history, a King of Crown and Sword, a modem statesman, a gentleman, and an aid to all Arabic and Islamic nations. The researcher has ordered these features according to their appearance in the poems that the poet has designated for King Abdul Aziz and has made a special note of what the poet has mentioned about the deal of this late King.
