Abstract

This research paper investigates the security situation in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia during the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud. It reviews the security situation in the late Ottoman period, showing how the security factor helped the King s scheme. This rich and important region was included in the kingdom after it had suffered from lack of order and confusion. The study highlights the role of Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawy and his son Saud after him, showing their administrative policy in ruling the affairs of this important part of Saudi Arabia under directives from King Abdulaziz. The study describes the Kings policy of reinforcing law and establishing security in the whole of Saudi Arabia, as an important basis for comprehensive development.
