Abstract

Ghazi Al Gosaibi took notice of our heritage, and benefited from it, as it shows in his modern poetry since he is an intellectual poet who has experience in connecting humans past with his present. His culture enriches his poets. It also derived me to look at the issue of heritage in his work as one of the few modern Arab poetries who added considerable share to free poet. Throughout this work, it was clear that 8220;Saaleek8221; and Arabic wisdom poetry influenced Ghazi Al Gosaibi. It also proved that there is a type that enclose all his work that can be traced back to heritage, culture, and Arabic culture in particular. Key Words : Heritage, Ghazi Al Gosaibi, Modern poet
