Abstract

The Tasbeeh Prayer has not been supported by all Islamic scholars. Nor have scholars agreed whether its status should be accepted or not (i. e. if it should be performed or not). The present paper aims at reaching a well- founded position concerning Tasbeeh prayer. For this purpose, the researcher studied Prophet Muhammeds sayings reported by Abu Dawoud in his book Sunan of Abu Dawoud (The Traditions reported by Abu Dawoud), since those are the most circulated narrations of this Prophets sayings (Hadith).
