The Approach of Abi El-Abbas Thalab in Explaining of Zuhair Bin Abi Sulma’s Poetry

Abstract

This study aims at exploring Abi El-Abbas Thalab s approach in explaining Zuhair Bin Abi Sulma s Poetry. It has been shown that the approach is based on four perspectives :documentation ,decoding, language structure and Culture. In the documentation aspect, we have dealt with the leading authorities mentioned, their issues, in addition to his character as revealed in his explanation. Regarding decoding, we have tackled his methods in interpreting poetry, such as word-for-word explanation, quoting referenced and anonymous, paraphrasing, and explaining the self-explanatory, while leaving what is deemed worthy. The structural aspect has to do with such structural matters as parsing, morphology (moulding), in addition to synonyms and antonyms. The cultural perspective is concerned with delimitation undelimitation of places and authorities, identification of akinships, animals, and plants, and description of clothes.
