Abstract

The present paper studies the Quranic verses (ayaat) which make some reference to the movement of the earth around itself. It also states the known scientific facts about this phenomenon. The paper shown the agreement of empirical fact obtained from modern science with the references to this phenomenon in the Holy Quran. It is concluded that scientific facts do not conflict with the references of the Holy Quran.
