Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of different irrigation intervals and different nitrogen fertilizer rates on cabbage yield and cabbage N uptake. Three irrigation intervals and four N rates were used for two seasons (1988/1999-1999/2000). The three irrigation treatments used were 2, 4, and 7 days, with the total amount of water applied at each treatment being fixed at the rate of 3733 m3 / season. The four N rates used were, namely, 0,100, 200, and 300 Kg N/ha.
